DJ Groupie

Memorial Day Weekend in Vegas means that the biggest DJ’s around the world come to play at what seems like every club on the strip. I have so many friends that are super into the DJ house music scene and over time it has made me particularly curious to see what it’s all really about. What if I had a passion for house music, music festivals, and European DJ’s that I never realized I had?

I had the pleasure of dancing my nights away to live music by Afrojack, Deadmau5, Avicii, Tiesto, and Skrillex. In all honesty though, over time every song started to sound the same. I’m not sure if it’s the abundance of trashy people, drugs, and girls who think it’s okay to have their shoes off, but overall, I realized that I really am not a DJ groupie. Of all the DJ’s, my favorites were Tiesto and Deadmau5 because of the show they put on with their music. Luckily, I was in very good company and still managed to have an amazing time. See you next year Vegas.
